This Privacy Policy explains how PILLAR handles information for the PILLAR mobile app, website, and related services at askpillar.ai. PILLAR provides Scripture-grounded AI guidance for private questions, prayer, decisions, relationships, and faithful next steps.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Account information, such as name, email address, authentication details, and account settings.
• App usage information, such as feature use, timestamps, entitlement status, and basic operational logs.
• Conversations and related context you submit in the app.
• Feedback, report-issue submissions, support requests, and other messages you send us.
• Device, crash, diagnostic, and performance data if enabled or provided by your device, app store, or diagnostics tools.
• Payment and subscription status through RevenueCat and app store or payment providers, such as product, entitlement, renewal, expiration, and refund status. We do not receive full payment card numbers from those providers.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the PILLAR app and related services.
• Generate responses and support Scripture-grounded guidance inside the app.
• Improve safety, reliability, debugging, abuse prevention, and product quality.
• Enforce usage limits, subscription status, entitlements, and account access.
• Respond to feedback, support requests, account requests, and report-issue submissions.
• Protect PILLAR, users, and others from fraud, misuse, security issues, or legal risk.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. AI and Provider Processing

When you use PILLAR, your conversations and related context may be processed by AI model providers, infrastructure providers, safety and reliability systems, payment/subscription providers, analytics or diagnostics providers, and support tools acting on our behalf. These providers may receive the information needed to perform their services for PILLAR.

We do not publicly disclose every provider or routing detail. We handle provider access through the providers' applicable terms, contracts, and security controls, and we aim to limit processing to what is needed to provide, secure, and support PILLAR.

5. Sharing and Advertising

We do not sell personal information to advertisers. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information with service providers that help us operate PILLAR, with app stores or payment processors for subscription and entitlement management, in connection with a business transaction, or when required for legal, safety, or security reasons.

6. User Controls

PILLAR is account-bound. You can sign out of the app, use available in-app memory and account controls, and contact us about access, correction, or deletion requests.

To request account deletion, email support@askpillar.ai from your account email with the subject "Delete my PILLAR account". Account deletion requests will be handled according to this policy and applicable law.

7. Retention and Security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide PILLAR, operate accounts, maintain safety and reliability, handle support, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. Deletion may take additional time in backups, logs, or records retained for legal, safety, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate for a launch product. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

PILLAR is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
